Locality : Anahi Mine, La Gaiba District, Sandoval Province, Santa Cruz Department, Bolivia.
Ametrine is the amethyst and citrine variety of quartz, but occurring together in one stone. It is only found to occur naturally this way in Bolivia. Once cut, faceted, and polished, the intense display of colors is breathtaking. This particular stone was cut by AGTA award winning cutter Chris Wolfsberg. It is called a Fantasy (concave) cut.
